Community service helps students explore academic interests through a real world lens . It has been shown by studies that students who give back to the society perform better in school. Community service has its own psychological, social and cognitive benefits which help in developing the required life skills in students like Problem solving, critical thinking, collaboration, Leadership, communication and Time management.

The senior students of the school with the help of their teachers organised a fun fair for people from the vicinity where several games involving a small cost were displayed. Students also sold self made Diyas and Rakhis and cards. An amount of Rs 11000 was collected which was donated in the form of items of necessity to St Catherine a Girls home in Jogeswari.

This was a great learning experience for the students and their entrepreneurial skills had begun to show. Right from developing the plan to marketing to execution was taken up by the students.

Our students donate roties to various Roti banks and this brings in them a realisation for the value of having food to eat and the importance of sharing it with those who don’t have them. There has been  a huge response from the students and their parents where the number of Roties has always outnumbered our expectations. The School has been associated with the  Roti Banks of Indian Development Foundation and Cooper hospital so far.
